The Trial Of Kyle

There’s no question that the trial of the year, or maybe of the decade, was that of Kyle Rittenhouse. No other trial fueled so much division in this already divided country. But was it really the trial itself that fueled the division? Or was it the enemy class media’s coverage of it, left wing commentators’ misrepresentation of the facts and slander of Mr. Rittenhouse, the fact that the basic right of self defense was in jeopardy, the clowns on the prosecution’s side, or the fact that Kyle was being charged at all that was causing such an uproar? Well the Rittenhouse side seemed to see that all coming way ahead of time and allowed Tucker Carlson and his crew behinds the scenes access during the trial to get the real story out there — a preemptive strike on what would inevitably be a complete firestorm of hatred, misinformation, and libel from the corporate press, Hollywood, the universties (yup, I’m not kidding), and the Cathedral overall. The end result of having such privileged access to Kyle and his team during what I can only assume was the hardest time of this teenager’s life is this great documentary aptly titled The Trial Of Kyle.
Amazingly, in just about twenty minutes this Tucker Carlson Original breaks down all of what happened during the trial, the actual facts of the case, and so much more. It clearly and succinctly tells and more importantly, shows the viewer what actually took place at the shooting using the footage that was also used as evidence during the trial itself.
The documentary also humanizes Kyle as a kid who just wants to improve and give back to his community. Tucker himself interviews Kyle, but you also get to see Kyle as a normal teenager who likes to play video games and play with his dog, but also deals with nightmares about the shooting that haunt him nightly.
I’m happy to report that in true Tucker form The Trial Of Kyle delves into just how shamelessly the corporate press lied about the basic facts of the case, how they lied about Kyle being a white supremacist and a vigilante, and how they seemly omitted facts on purpose just to further their agenda. (There are many clowns in the corporate media that still do this even after Kyle was found not guilty). But while this film is yet another indictment of the corporate press, it also acknowledges that the verdict of this trial was a major victory for independent/alternative journalists like Elijah Schaffer, Julio Rosas, and Brendan Gutenshwager. Had it not been for those journalists’ raw footage of the incident Kyle Rittenhouse would most likely have been found guilty. These real journalists saved his reputation and his life.
I do wish that for a few extra minutes the filmmakers continued covering how alternative media won such an amazing victory — specifically how alternative media covered the trial itself. For example, a huge story that definitely deserved to be in this film was how law-based YouTube channel Rekeita Media’s commentary livestreams of the trial reached over 100,000 viewers at once. As one of those viewers, I can tell you that if you wanted the real story and honest opinions and analysis of the Rittenhouse trial, you couldn’t find anything better than Rekeita Media’s streams.
Overall The Trial Of Kyle does a stellar job of telling the story of the Rittenhouse case. In a relatively short amount of time you get all of the facts (and more) about something that was actually fairly difficult to follow if you only listened to traditional news media. The film also does a really great job of comparing and contrasting the Rittenhouse trial to the Soviet show trials and the chaos (or “anarcho tyranny” as it is referred to in the film) ensued during the early years of the USSR. It’s a classic Tucker Carlson warning that history could be repeating itself and happening in America if more people don’t wake up to what is really going on. America is lucky that this show trial ended with the correct verdict and that there are people like Tucker Carlson and his team who go out and expose the lies of the corporate press and show the people the truth.
